The NSW Journalists Benevolent Fund is an independent trust for the benefit of NSW journalists. It is a registered organisation under the ACNC. The NSW JBF has operated for about 100 years, with the bulk of its funds from its original benefactor Bulletin editor Jules Archibald, with subsequent bequests from other journalists including Dame Mary Gilmore and Emery Barcs.

The NSW JBF offers support to journalists in NSW and has resolved to offer a streamlined application for assistance to striking Nine Publishing journalists who seek financial help.
